Threat hunting, dissection and mitigation is the need of the hour. Blocking incoming threats works to an extent. Dissecting it and fixing the future attacks makes a lot of difference. Women In Engineering 2019 brings to you a workshop on cyber security titled “Being Sherlock Holmes”. We will be covering the following:
Spotting/Dissecting Phishing sites that are targeted towards organizations and individuals
We will Compromise a Windows computer and see how attackers make use of it to host different attacks
Dissect a simple word doc malware and un-earthen a malware campaign
This 3 hours will make one think like Sherlock Holmes, be like sherlock Holmes and solve cyber crimes like Sherlock, all we need is you and your laptop(with some minimum installations).
